The skinny: Based on the hit video game, the animated adventure comedy centers on plumber Mario (Pratt) and his brother Luigi (Charlie Day) winding up in a fantasy landscape, seeking to save Princess Peach (Taylor-Joy), facing the fearsome foe Bowser (Black) and meeting colorful characters such as Donkey Kong (Seth Rogen).
The skinny: The conclusion of Gunn’s cosmic trilogy finds Star-Lord (Pratt) reeling after the loss of his love Gamora (Zoe Saldaña).
